I had one of the most memorable dreams I have ever had while I was in Pittsfield. I have told maybe two people about it until now, not for any real reason but something I just haven’t found the right forum to share.
I was outside in a neighborhood that felt familiar but in real life it wasn’t around a house that felt like mine but wasn’t. It was night time but a full moon was out and lighting up the night sky, shedding enough light to be able to see. Across the street from what I assumed was my house was a convent. I walked from my house to the street, nuns were standing on the porch of the convent when I decided to look up. As I looked up the moon had tinted green and begin to make big circles. I was taken back and could not believe what I was seeing. It reminded me of the spinning sun in Medjugorje where apparitions of Mary have been occurring for decades. I was starring at this spinning moon and was trying to get the attention of the nuns, yelling to tell them to look up. They did and saw nothing, just as in Medjugorje, some people see the spinning sun and others do not. This was frustrating, “LOOK, LOOK, don’t you see that, the moon is moving in circles!”. They kept saying no. As I continued to stare up I made my way back to my house until I finally made it to my front steps where the circle the moon was spinning in became smaller and smaller, almost as if building up to something. Finally the moon stopped moving and as it did a magnificent beam of light shot down to the where I was standing, landing right on my chest. I then became horizontal and was receiving this beam of ubber-white light into my chest and was being raised up at the same time. I realized this was the Holy Spirit, this was God filling a void. A noise started to sound, something I am having a hard time trying to find the words for, almost an AHHHHHH but an epiphytic AH, not a scary AH! The more I became to realize what was happening the sound became higher in pitch. It was the most physical sensation I have ever had in any dream. I truly felt this supernatural energy consuming mind, body, and soul until the point I woke up with a gasp. I sat up and was speechless and a little nervous Jesus was in my room, ha-ha. I was sweating, out of breath, and completely bewildered at what just happened. It was the most surreal experience. I felt I was in my natural body experiencing supernatural feelings, I wish I could go back. Since then I have not really thought about it, I think it will reveal itself in time. I have a friend who also has interesting dreams along these lines and we shortly discussed this. I think someone may read this and it will reveal more about itself! God if you can hear me, take me back to that place, it was right.
After falling back asleep for a little while, I awoke once more to the pitter patter of rain, the only thing I did not want to hear. I am finally in Massachusetts and am going to be delayed because of something I have no control over. I got dressed and hoped for the best. Maybe it’ll slow down and pass. After watching the weather channel, that did not look like it was going to be an option. I waited and waited with Sherri and I finally got to a point where I just said, I do not care if I get wet, I need to walk at least a little bit. Sherri agreed and told me I could walk for a few hours, she would pick me up and I could stay another night and tomorrow she could drop me back off! Perfect! It was the best of both worlds, I get to put some miles down, get a little closer to home, and I have a place to stay tonight.
I walked about eleven miles in the three hours I was able to walk. I was drenched but satisfied with what I was able to accomplish in this short time. Sherri picked me up and was surprised I got that far in such a short time. I was walking a little over 3.8 miles an hour which is a good speed walk. Once back at their place I dried off and got comfortable again. Buster and Sherri invited me to go out to eat to meet the rest of their family at a local restaurant that had upwards of 300 beers. You can get a checklist and the waitress checks off the ones you have had and once you have tried 50 you get a permanent mug to keep there. Very cool idea and very good brews. I’m going to have to go back some day. It was a wonderful Cajun chicken sandwich and wonderful conversation with great people. We said our goodbyes and were headed back to their house. Before we made it home Buster and Sherri showed me where they were married about a year ago. It was in a gigantic in bloom sunflower field. My brother and father went and the pictures were amazing, very cool idea. Overall the day was productive with what I had available. I was given a gift the night before and it is something I will never forget. I am excited and patient for its meaning to be revealed. Peace!
